Pricing
All prices are subject to VAT.
Invoices are due for payment within 24 hours of issue. BACS is the prefered method and details are on the invoices. We do have a Sum Up card reader and if people wish to pay on the day we can take a payment that way. We have stopped using payPal as there cost for transactions just seems to keep increasing and they are also hanging onto payments longer than is necessary.

The first hour will be charged at £80+vat with following hours at £70+vat or part of hours. Even if a job is only 10 mins we will have to charge the full £80+vat.

Price per hour of labour
£80 plus vat per electrician for 1st hour
£70 plus vat per electrician after the first hour

Material costs.
Due to the ever increasing fuel costs which drive up the cost of goods, all materials will be quoted on within 2 days of the site visit after prices have been gathered from wholesalers. My wholesaler's will only set a price's on cable for 3 days so these may increase if time is taken on accepting quotes.

Estimates and Quoted works
We do not charge for attending and discussing jobs. The estimates given will be as close as possible to the overall cost but due to the nature of electrical installations once we start we may uncover other areas that require changing or improving. If this is the case we will keep you fully up to date with any additional cost before we proceed. If a proposed job has to have testing or physical examination of parts and areas then the minimum charge will apply to cover the 1 hour of our time.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports.
Minimum charge of £125+vat and after discussion of the size of property a full price can be given. This depends on size of house/outbuildings and any other items that take time to inspect. For landlords we use Easycert certification so all out the certificates can be emailed rather than hard copies, they are also backed up on a cloud based server so any lost certificates can easily be replaced.

Travel Costs
We do not charge for travel unless the journey is over 30mins (1 hour round trip) at which point a minimum charge is applied. If a job is quoted for the quote would include this travel time costs.
Costing
These costs are worked out as worked hours with myself and any qualified electrical sub-contractor I use attending your property to carry out works, this will include time taken to unload and reload tools and materials along with any planning. We will always work as efficiently as we can to get the jobs completed in the minimum time and disruption. We may stop to take breaks for lunch and no charge will be applied during these times.
I also have on occasion other qualified subcontractors working alongside us if we require such as plasterer's and their costs are detailed in any prices/quotes given.
All works carried out come with a minimum 12-month guarantee.
