Inspection and Testing.

The most common reason why we would carry out inspection and testing is for Electrical Installation and Condition Reports. These are usually referred to as Landlords certificates or Periodic's. They are also being used more often in property sales and purchases giving everyone as much information about the electrical system within the property as possible.
We would carry out all the relevant checks and tests and then issue a certificate at the end of the inspection. The inspection process is just that and any defects found are not rectified as part of the price. These will be made clear at the end of the process with any other observations and the person ordering the inspection can then gather quotes and estimates from us and any other electrical companies before ordering the works. If we are instructed to carry out any minor issues under a fixed limit we will detail these in a separate invoice. If we discover a very serious fault that would cause the installation to fail we reserve the right to end the inspection until the serious fault has been fixed. Again we can quote for this work and other estimates can also be gathered. We would leave the power isolated and locked off for very dangerous or life threatening faults.

We can also carry out Inspection and Testing for customers who have had works carried out by non registered electricians. The work carried out by these persons would still have to comply with BS7671 18th edition and any Building regulations for us to give it a satisfactory rating. Any faults found or areas not up to the standard required will be brought to the customers attention who can either get the original installer to correct or we can quote for the works.
